Description (field, expectations, comments): The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:

- participant in doctoral studies or doctoral student at a doctoral school in the field of exact and natural sciences or medical and health science, the status of a doctoral student (obtained no later than October 1st, 2026)
- basic knowledge of analytical, organic, and physical chemistry;
- basic knowledge of microbiological analysis
- knowledge of analytical techniques, particularly chromatographic (HPLC, GC) and spectroscopic (UV-VIS, FTIR, MALDI-TOF-MS);
- laboratory experience in the physicochemical analysis of raw materials, particularly vegetable fats and bioactive substances (lactoferrin, lecithins, glycerin, polyphenolic compounds);
- experience in working in a biotechnology laboratory, in particular working with cell lines, will be an additional advantage;
- ability to use basic computer software (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and specialized (Origin, ChemDraw), knowledge of graphic programs recommended
- ability to work in a team
- knowledge of the English language allowing for the use of English-language scientific literature and/or scientific internships in foreign research units. They are accepted certificates or credits for language courses at university
- verification of their results and preparation of reports
- experience supported by publications from the JCR list or described in a master's thesis or presented in the form of a poster / oral presentation / lecture at a conference

Competition within Leader XV ""Development of a prototype formula for a next-generation cosmetic with regenerative, immunomodulatory, and antibacterial properties"

The tasks will include:
- Physicochemical and biological analysis of raw materials such as vegetable fats, lecithins, glycerol, lactoferrin, and polyphenolic compounds;
- Development of an enzymatic digestion process for lactoferrin and characterization of the physicochemical properties of the resulting peptides;
- Formulation of a cosmetic emulsion and prototype, and characterization of the physicochemical properties of intermediates and the final prototype;
- Post-production physicochemical and biological analysis of a pilot cosmetic batch, including assessment of time-dependent changes in physicochemical properties (stability testing);
- Analysis using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques: HPLC, GC, UV–Vis, FTIR, MALDI-TOF MS;
- Verification of results, report preparation, and scientific manuscript writing.
