Doctoral Schools

At Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, there are five interdisciplinary doctoral schools: the Academia Copernicana Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, the Doctoral School of Humanities, Theology and Arts, the Doctoral School of Medical and Health Sciences, the Doctoral School of Social Sciences, and the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences.

The first step in a research career

The doctoral schools at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń are a modern form of education for future researchers and experts, preparing candidates for the doctoral degree in selected scientific disciplines. They combine intensive research work with structured educational support and supervisory guidance, creating conditions for conducting independent research projects at a high level. This path is intended for those who want not only to deepen the knowledge gained during their studies and develop their research skills and create new solutions, but also to participate in an international academic environment.
