Academic Journal Platform is a website that enables the publication and distribution of academic journals from Nicolaus Copernicus University and its partner institutions. Currently, the database contains over one hundred titles. The platform supports the entire publishing process – from article submission to publication. Thanks to the open access model, readers can access scholarly publications free of charge. The platform increases the visibility of research, facilitates the exchange of knowledge, and promotes high standards of scholarly communication.
Excellence Initiative – Research University
Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń is among the elite group of ten Polish universities that have been awarded the status of a research university under the Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB) program. The initiative is one of the key elements of Poland's higher education and research reform.
The program aims to increase the international impact of participating universities by enhancing the quality of both research and education. Its priority is to support the most outstanding Polish universities, enabling them to compete successfully with leading academic institutions in Europe and around the world.
