The “Initiative of Excellence – Research University” (IDUB) is a programme aimed at enhancing the international standing of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, developing world-class research, and providing support for staff and students.

Priority Research Areas

Priority Research Areas (POB) are key areas of scientific research identified by Nicolaus Copernicus University, which are developed through inter-faculty collaboration. Their aim is to support research with high scientific and applied potential, to integrate the research community, and to strengthen the university’s international competitiveness.
