Description (field, expectations, comments): The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
1. MSc in physics or technical physics
2. Scientific experience in solid state physics, particularly in the field of recombination processes and light production in pure and doped insulators and semiconductors (has authored or co-authored at least 5 JCR publications on the subject)
3. Capability of maintaining and operating standard facilities used to measure radio-, photo-, and thermoluminescence, pulse height spectra, and scintillation time profiles, as well as of processing the data and tentatively interpreting the results
4. Programming skills in the Python language
5. Some experience in teaching students and readiness to undertake teaching duties at the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics
6. Very good knowledge of English and Polish in speaking and writing.

We offer full-time employment with a gross monthly base salary of PLN 5,320.00.

Planned employment period: October 1, 2026 - June 30, 2029.
