Description (field, expectations, comments): The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
Requirements:
- a Master’s degree (or equivalent) of studies within the humanities or social studies;
- Japanese native speaker;
- required knowledge of English and/or Polish at least at level B2;
- experience in teaching practical Japanese at the university level

Expectations:
- active involvement in teaching Japanese;
- participation in projects organised by the Department of Oriental Studies;
- engagement in activities aimed at improving students’ language competences, including support in preparation for national examinations, speech contests, translation of students’ texts as well as assistance with student exchange programmes and study visits to Japan;
- teaching courses for first- and second-cycle (BA and MA) students in the field of Japanese Studies, including the development of speaking and writing skills as well as advanced translation training;
- active participation in the organisational life of the University community, including activities for the Department of Oriental Studies (e.g. meetings, seminars, lectures);
- continuous improvement of teaching qualifications.
