Dr Michio Kaku in Toruń

Dr Michio Kaku, the great American theoretician of physics, promoter of science and futurologist will be visiting in Toruń at the invitation of the Polish National Foundation. On February 19th, on the 546th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus, dr Kaku will give a lecture at the Cultural and Congress Centre Jordanki. He will also visit the NCU Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Informatics.
The main point of dr Michio Kaku’s visit in Toruń will be his scientific show, which will start at 19:00 at the Jordanki CCC on February 19th. Admission to the event is free, but pre-registration was required. Those interested were asked to write to the e-mail address: 100x100@pfn.org.pl.
Dr Michio Kaku will also visit the University Centre of Astronomy in Piwnice, he will also see the Polish Optical Atomic Clock at the National Laboratory of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics at the NCU Institute of Physics. He will also meet with the authorities of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Informatics.
Dr Michio Kaku will visit our city as part of the 100x100 project to commemorate 100 years of independent Poland. 100 authorities from various fields, including scientists, actors, artists, athletes and entrepreneurs are invited to Poland within the project run by the Polish National Foundation.
