Delegation from Saxony-Anhalt

Dr Reiner Haseloff, the Prime Minister and a member of the Saxon-Anhalt Parliament met with dr habil. Andrzej Sokala, Vice-Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
The meeting, which took place on July 13, 2018 at Collegium Maximum, was also attended by dr Matthias Schuppe, director of the Press and Information Department and Spokesman of the Saxony-Anhalt Government, Jürgen Schlemme from the International Cooperation Department of the Land Government and Krzysztof Blau, President of the German-Polish Society in Saxony-Anhalt; as well as Piotr Całbecki, Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, Sylwia Tubielewicz-Olejnik and Magdalena Burdziej from the International Cooperation Department of the Marshal’s Office, Maciej Krużewski, President of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Innovation Agency, Ewa Walusiak-Bednarek from the NCU Press Team and dr Edyta Grotek, a German translator from the NCU Faculty of Languages.
Among other things, the participants of the meeting talked about developing scientific-research and educational cooperation between the University and the Land's scientific institutions.
They guests also saw the University Campus, and dr hab. Jerzy Łukaszewicz, Prof. NCU also presented research projects carried out at the Interdisciplinary Center for Modern Technologies to the delegation.
The visitors from Saxony-Anhalt are staying in Toruń at the invitation of the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.
