It is the fourth time the Nicolaus Copernicus University has been listed in the QS World University Ranking which comprises 4% of the best higher education schools in the world.
There are six criteria considered in the raking. There are only six Polish universities in the ranking: the University of Warsaw at 366th place, the Jagiellonian University (in the 431-440 ranking group), the Warsaw University of Technology (in the 601-650 ranking group), our University, the University of Łódź and the University of Wrocław (in the 701+ ranking group).
The QS rankings have been produced since 2004 by the Quacquarelli Symonds orgainsation which focuses on higher education. The most important objective of the ranking is to provide students with a rational choice of the universities and promote studying outside the native country.
