The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
- Master's degree in the humanities or social sciences;
- Experience in conducting research, educational activities, or workshops involving primary school children;
- Very good command of English sufficient for reading academic literature, translating selected research techniques into Polish, and participating in meetings of an international research team;
- Fluent command of Polish sufficient for conducting research in the Polish language;
- Clean criminal record (required for working with schoolchildren);
- Strong communication skills and readiness to conduct research involving primary school children.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out research tasks specified in the project description;
- Participating in research team meetings;
- Contributing to the design and planning of research implementation details;
- Preparing research techniques and materials for studies involving children, in collaboration with other team members;
- Recruiting research participants: school-age children;
- Conducting quantitative research involving school-age children;
- Administering questionnaire studies with teachers and parents;
- Preparing the project's research database;
- Preparing scientific publications in collaboration with team members;
- Performing organizational tasks.
Additional conditions:
- The position of assistant is a full-time position for a candidate who has obtained a master's degree prior to joining the project.
- Employment period: 15-07-2026 - 30-06-2029
- While employed within the project, the candidate will neither receive any payment from another employer on the basis of an employment contract;
- Time flexibility (commuting to schools, travelling to conferences);
Evidence of the following may be an advantage:
- publications in peer-reviewed scientific publications in the field of child development or education;
- experience in conducting research or educational projects.

Please be informed that the person selected through the competition will be obliged to submit a certificate from the National Criminal Register with regard to offences specified in Chapters 19 and 25 of the Penal Code (including offences against sexual freedom and morality), in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction of 29 July 2005 (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939 and of 2022, item 2600), or for the corresponding offences defined in foreign law.
