The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
- PhD degree in physics,
- a track record in achievements in research (publications, conference presentations etc.),
- research experience in the following fields: open quantum systems, quantum information, entanglement theory, operator algebras,
- numerical skills in Mathematica and/or Python (advantageous),
- motivation to conduct research and to turn challenges to opportunities,
- independence in doing research and strong interest in the topic (quantum dynamical maps, quantum information, entanglement theory, operator algebras),
- developed written and verbal communication skills (English required, Polish not required),
- willingness to work in a research team.
Research position within the NCN project „Classical and quantum superchannels: modelling, analysis, and applications"
The candidate must meet the requirements set by the NCN (National Science Centre), in particular, hold a PhD degree obtained no earlier than 12 years before January 1 of the year of employment in the project (this period may be extended in the case of career breaks as specified by the NCN).

Conditions of employment:
- 24 months postdoc position,
- salary (gross) 9500 PLN per month,
- no teaching duties.
