Description (field, expectations, comments): The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Spanish Studies or in Linguistics with Spanish (specialisation in linguistics)
or
- for a native speaker of Spanish: a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Humanities and qualifications to teach Spanish as a foreign language, or equivalent teaching qualifications;
- PhD in Linguistics;
- proficiency in Spanish, both in speech and writing;
- documented academic activity (publications in Spanish linguistics, contrastive linguistics, participation in conferences, teaching or research/teaching internships);
- several years of experience in teaching Spanish at the university level;
- experience in teaching Language for Special Purposes and practical Spanish

Additional requirements:
- knowledge of a second Romance language (Italian or French) would be an asset;
- for native speakers of Spanish, knowledge of the Polish language is welcome;
- experience in teaching using modern technologies
Expectations:
- active engagement in academic research in Spanish linguistics;
- participation in research projects (including those carried out within projects involving the University and the Department);
- teaching courses for students of Applied Linguistics with Spanish, including Language for Special Purposes, practical Spanish, and selected linguistics courses;
- active participation in the organisational life of the academic community, and of the Institute / Department;
- continuous development of teaching qualifications and competences
