Description (field, expectations, comments): The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
1. Ph.D. degree in Astronomy or in Physical Sciences
2. Significant number of publications in the field of astronomy and/or astrophysics
3. Research experience in at least one from following subjects:
• radio astronomy in general
• in particular, radio spectroscopic studies
• and radio interferometric studies
• experience in studies of star-forming regions and
• in the study of young stellar objects
4. Experience in acquiring, processing and interpreting astronomical observations obtained using one or more of the following techniques:
• radio flux variability measurements
• radio spectral observations
• radio polarimetry
• imaging using long-baseline interferometry
5. Willingness to engage in dual-use research – civil-military
6. Potential to obtain research funding from external sources
7. Readiness to give classes for students of astronomy and Ph.D. students from doctoral schools
8. Willingness to give classes in the field of physics or programming in other fields of study conducted by the Faculty (physics, technical physics, applied computer science, automation and robotics)
9. Ability to conduct classes in Polish and English
10. Good knowledge of spoken and written English language is required

Remuneration/month: 7300,00 PLN gross

Period of contract agreement: initially 24 months, with later possibility for a permanent position
