Description (field, expectations, comments):
The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and the following qualification criteria:
1. A PhD in Art Studies, or an expectation to obtain one within six months. In the latter case, a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Protection or a related field is required.
2. Documented academic achievements in art studies, such as publications in journals listed by the Ministry and active participation in academic life, including academic conferences, scholarships and projects. Experience should be primarily in research on the art of the Teutonic region, including various fields of artistic creation (such as handcrafts) and issues related to monument studies and conservation.
3. Experience of working with historical objects in field conditions (inventory and documentation).
4. Documented experience of international cooperation (projects, fellowships and international conferences) and willingness to participate in university exchange activities.
5. Experience in applying for external funding for scientific projects and declared with a declared willingness to prepare grant applications and/or participate in teams applying for competitions organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and other institutions.
6. Experience of teaching at university level, enabling the immediate commencement of teaching duties (lectures and classes in art history and heritage studies). Experience of working with young people, enabling the undertaking of promotional teaching tasks in secondary schools, would be advantageous.
7. Excellent command of Polish, enabling precise communication of the course content.
8. Command of a foreign language.

Additional information: Documents should be submitted to the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts NCU in Toruń, ul. Sienkiewicza 30/32, room 110 on or before 31.08.2025 r.
