Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education

- Supervises the organization of the teaching process at the University and, in cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, at the Collegium Medicum. This includes the organization of full-time, part-time, doctoral, and postgraduate studies; distance learning using online methods and technologies; study programs and plans; as well as supervision of the organization and implementation of mandatory internships for students and doctoral candidates.
- Supervises the quality of education at the University, in cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum at the Collegium Medicum.
- Coordinates, in cooperation with deans and, at the Collegium Medicum, with the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, the launch of new degree programs, specializations, postgraduate studies, and other forms of education.
- Supervises the settlement of teaching workloads of academic staff and the accounting of teaching activities performed under civil-law contracts at the University, and, in cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum, at the Collegium Medicum.
- Supervises matters related to the awarding of Rector’s prizes for teaching activities and awards from the minister competent for science and higher education for achievements in teaching.
- Provides the Rector with opinions on assigning teaching responsibilities in the form of teaching grants to individuals from outside the University.
- Handles individual cases of students and doctoral candidates arising from the implementation of the study regulations, doctoral study regulations, and doctoral school regulations, including those concerning non-Polish citizens.
- Supervises the documentation of the academic progress of students and doctoral candidates using the USOS system, excluding those who are not Polish citizens.
- In cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Research and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, supervises the submission of data to the POL-on higher education information system.
- Supervises the organization and conduct of student admissions at the University, excluding applicants who are not Polish citizens, and at the Collegium Medicum in cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Collegium Medicum.
- Supervises matters related to social support, healthcare for students and doctoral candidates, and support for students with disabilities.
- Supervises disciplinary matters concerning students and doctoral candidates.
- Cooperates with the Student Government, the Doctoral Student Government, and student organizations.
- Supervises the activities of student and doctoral scientific groups.
