Arrival at a new university can be very confusing, especially if you are also arriving in a new country. This booklet has been produced by the International Programmes Office to help you settle in to life in Toruń. It tells you a little about the city, presents the university and gives some advice on things you will need here.
There are also some tips on how to get to Toruń and to the university together with several useful addresses and telephone numbers. We hope it will assist you in making the necessary preparations and facilitate your integration into the academic life of Toruń.
If things seem difficult at first, please remember that this is not unusual. It takes everybody a little time to settle down but there are always people available to offer you help and guidance.
