ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AT NCU
For lecturers:
- Short visits: usually no visa is required (please, check in Polish Embassies/Consulates).
- Employment: for EU-members no visa is required; for non EU-members a valid
passport and a visa (if required).

Generally, students from EU countries may enter the university if
they fulfil the same requirements as Polish students e.g. on the basis
of marks in school-leaving certificates or on the basis of entry examinations.
They do not pay for their studies. Please, remember that the language of
instruction is Polish.

To be admitted at NCU each ERASMUS student should submit the
following documents:
- on-line application form- www.umk.pl/en/cooperation/erasmus/students/application/
- valid passport or personal identification card
- the European Health Insurance Card or a copy of
student's insurance (coverage with respect to the cost of medical
treatment, consequences of accidents, and civil liability) - it should be translated into Polish
by a sworn translator (if you cannot find one in your home country,
you may have the documents translated when in Toruń but you will have to
pay for it).
- transcript of academic records (a list of exams taken at home university
with grades)
- learning agreement approved by home and host institution
- at least two passport-size photographs of high quality
