IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
AMBULANCE999
FIRE BRIGADE998
POLICE997
MOBILE PHONE EMERGENCY   112

If case of emergency, there is also the Emergency Surgery Clinic (Ambulatorium Chirurgiczno-Urazowe), open 24h – located in the hospital (Bielany), Sw. Jozefa street (tel. 056 610 11 31).

LOST PROPERTY

If you have lost your property or have been robbed, do not lose your heart! Provided you cannot contact us directly, you should go to the nearest Police station (POLICJA - Komisariat Śródmieście) ul. PCK 2, tel. 641 24 52, where you will be asked to go through an official procedure and you will make your statement. When your language skills are not good enough, we suggest that you ask your Mentor or a Polish friend to accompany you. Be prepared to spend some time at the Police station, since it takes a while before you are given a certificate about the loss. Such certificate is important particularly when you have lost your credit cards or some official documents from your home country, e.g. you may need this document to freeze your bank account.

Provided you have left some of your belongings on the train, go to the Lost Property Office (BIURO RZECZY ZNALEZIONYCH) at the railway station.
